Many of the students have enjoyed a free website with lots of active games called GoNoodle.  Below is  a link you can click to get your kids moving and get some fun holiday exercise that is fun for everyone!

We are having a great time in PE this week learning how to cup stack!  Several students have asked, "Mrs.  Bowen, where do you get these cups?" In the past I have also had many parents ask where to find these cups, and what is this all about?  

SO, here it is boys and girls....  The website where you can purchase speedstacks.  You can also find out lots of information on the sport of Cup Stacking (It's a REAL sport!!) and the benefits of stacking.

We have had such a great time with our very own Oconee County Warrior, Parker Skiles, in PE this semester.  Parker is thinking about becoming a PE teacher so he took a class at OCHS where he could get some experience in a real PE class and see what it is like.  We think he would be a great PE teacher!  Thanks, Parker for spending time at the

What a great time we had at our annual OCPS Little Chief Fun Run this year! We had about 70 Little Chiefs pre-register to run.  The weather was beautiful!  We could not have been more PROUD of a ll our runners for finishing their race! Welcome back to OCPS PE!

Miss Rebecca and I are so excited to start another school year here at OCPS!  In case you haven't received a specials schedule you can refer to the one below to see which days you go to art, music, and PE.  It is important to know which days you go to PE so you can wear your PE shoes.   Shoes that lace (or velcro) and cover your toes and heels are the best, safest, and most comfortable shoes to wear for PE because most days we will be VERY active!  You can also earn a free PE day if everyone in your class remembers to wear your PE shoes 10 times! 

On Fridays we rotate specials.  Our first Friday will be a Tuesday rotation.  So, whichever special you go to on Tuesdays will be the one you go to on our first Friday.  The next Friday will be a Wednesday rotation, and so forth.  The Friday Rotation schedule is below the Specials schedule here.
